With smartphones, it is so easy to get distracted while driving, especially with needing to answer and respond to important phone calls and text messages. iOttie Dash Mount
In number one place, we have the iOttie Dash Mount. This is your standard adjustable car holder mount, so you can adjust it to make it fit with a variety of different smartphones on the market. The one “con” to this one is that the iOttie was actually designed the dash mount to be a permanent addition to your car.
That means that, once you set it up, you’re not going to be able to easily remove it, at least not without harming your dash. It is, however, fairly easy to install — apply the included dashboard pad to the desired spot on your dash.
Next, apply the plate to the dashboard pad with the included sticky adhesive, and you have an extremely secure car holder mount. Once dry, you can set your phone in the mount and remove it as you please.
FitFort Magnetic Holder
FitFort is up next as a magnetic holder, setting it apart from much of everything else. Because it’s a magnetic holder it’s actually quite a slim setup, so it doesn’t take up much room in your car. Even using magnets, it’s able to securely keep your phone in place, even over rough terrain like dirt roads.
The holder shouldn’t harm your phone either. The magnetics just aren’t strong enough to do things like erase your storage, which is a slim to none chance anyway since the Moto G7 uses flash storage.
Fully Adjustable Case-Friendly Mount
Encased has a really good adjustable mount as well. This one is right up there with the iOttie, and since it is adjustable, you can use it with a variety of handsets on the market. You can use it with something as slim s the Moto G7, and something as large as the Galaxy Note 10+.
It’s actually really versatile — not just with phone types that you can use — as you can use it on your dashboard and windshield as well. It shouldn’t do any damage to your car, as it operates via a suction cup. The suction cup is fairly strong as well, so you shouldn’t have trouble keeping your Moto G7 securely in place, too.
Dash Mount by Exshow
Next up, we have the Exshow Dash Mount. This one operates with a suction cup, and allows you to use it either on the windshield, or on the dash mount. The suction cup is made out of high quality rubber material, so it’s even able to stay in place when the windshield gets really hot. Either way, it’s still able to keep your phone really secure.
The mounting mechanism can be used to secure any smartphone, but the nice thing here is that there’s a single button release — that means when you need to access your smartphone, you just press the button, and then the clasp instantly releases.
Magnetic Universal CD Holder
Last up on our countdown, but certainly not least, we’re looking at the Magnetic Universal CD Holder. This one uses magnets, but actually gets most of its strength from your CD holder. The silicon base is designed to fit securely into almost any vehicle’s built-in CD player. Then, your phone attaches to the magnetic holder via, well, magnets.
The CD Player cell phone mount is fully adjustable with a 360-degree ball head joint, so you can adjust it into petty much almost any position.
Verdict
As you can see, there are a lot of excellent car holder mounts that you can use with the Moto G7. Ultimately, any one of these will do, it’s mostly a matter of preference as to which one you go for. Magnetic options are probably the most low profile choices out there, but generally, the adjustable clasp mounts and windshield mounts are the most reliable and renowned choices that you can go for.
